JULIE KING
Julie was awarded a First Class (Hons) degree in Printed Textiles at Nottingham Trent Polytechnic. She now paints and draws to commission and teaches locally in Tunbridge Wells, for art societies and takes outdoor summer classes for the National Trust.
SORAYA FRENCH
Since leaving Tehran in 1975 Soraya became a full time artist in 1999 working in watercolours, pastels, acrylics and mixed media. A Member of the Society of Floral Painters and a demonstrator for Daler Rowney,she is in great demand as a tutor and artist.
ROGER SWAN
Roger was trained at the Sutton School of Art and went on to start his own design studio working extensively as an illustrator. Using all media he teaches with great humour and inspiration, runs classes from his home in Canterbury and tutors for local art societies.
TESSA SPANTON
Tessa is a qualified teacher with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and is a member of the Society of Women Artists, the Society of Floral Painters and the Guild of Silk Painters with whom she regularly exhibits. Her paintings sell both in the UK and abroad. She runs her own classes in watercolour and teaches locally in Surrey.
CHRIS FORSEY
An accomplished artist using watercolour, acrylics, pastels and mixed media, Chris trained in Bristol as a graphic designer. Winner of several major prizes, he exhibits with the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Institute of Watercolour Painters and sells his work both in the UK and abroad. He runs his own classes in Dorking and is much in demand as a tutor and demonstrator.
MOLLY VERITY
Molly trained at the Reigate Art School followed by a degree in Painting and Art History at the Camberwell School of Art. She is a demonstrator for Caran D'Ache, Chairman of the Reigate Art Society and a contributor to the Leisure Painter.Working mainly in pastels and oil pastels she is a popular local tutor.
KAREN PEARSON
Karen, who has won many prizes for her work, is a full member of the Society of Floral Painters and Surrey Figurative Artists and has had her work shown and sold in the Mall Galleries and Westminster Central Hall in London. She is Chairman of the Dorking Group of Artists and a member of the Leatherhead Art Society.
ROGER DELLAR
Roger is a professional figurative artist working in oils, pastels, mixed media and water-based media. Winner of many prestigious prizes and exhibitor in major art galleries, he is on the RI Council and member of the Wapping Group of Artists, the Chelsea Art Society and the Langham Sketching Club. Roger teaches and demonstrates to many art societies and groups and is a contributor to The Artist magazine.
SANDI GRAY
Sandi paints predominately in watercolour and her work has been published by the Medici Society, Colour House Graphics and the Artists and Illustrators Magazine. She exhibits with the Society of Women Artists, and runs her own Watercolour Workshops which she was invited to take on board cruise liners for the past ten years.
Liz Ashurst
Liz trained at Chelsea and Goldsmiths' Colleges of Art and Design and is a qualified teacher and practising textile artist. She is also a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and the Embroiderers' Guild. She has her own studio in Reigate, and tutors locally.
JO HUDSON
Jo is primarily a watercolourist although she does paint in oils and other media. She begain painting full-time in 1998 staging her first solo-exhibition. Since then she has exhibited regularly and her pictures are in private collections throughout the world. In 1992 she set up her own Painting School in Sussex and teaches for local art groups. ALAN BRAIN
Alan began painting seriously in 1994 using his life's experiences and love of the natural world to produce stunning, emotionally charged works. In 2007 he exhibited with the Royal Watercolour Society and at Longleat. In Spring 2008 he is exhibiting at the National Arts Club in New York as part of the 'Remains of War' exhibition. Alan also runs his own unique course 'Find Your Own Painting Direction'. Website at www.alanbrain.com
